Am I expected to pay my account on the day of consultation?
Yes- payment is due on the same day as your consultation
Will my medical aid cover my bill?
Depending on the type of medical insurance you have, you can request a refund for the costs of the consultation. After you make your payment at the time of the consultation, we will issue you with a receipt which you can submit to your medical scheme requesting a reimbursement.
Do I need to book an appointment to come to Priority Pain Management?
Yes, you’ll need to phone our office during working hours to book an appointment.
What should I bring with me when I come for an appointment?
When you come for your appointment remember to bring the following:
• Most recent X-rays, MRI’s, CT scans and copies of results and any other relevant information.
• A list of your current medications and, if possible, previous medications.
• A completed Patient Questionnaire and Consent Form provided by us.
What happens in the initial consultation?
You will be assessed by Dr Chetty and given a treatment plan. Correspondence will also be sent to your referring doctor.
